I am always on the lookout for a good cafe and park combination! There are a few great cafe’s around Sydney that are close by or even on the same grounds as a good playground that Ava loves! Below are some of our favourite little spots around Sydney- hopefully you love them as much as we do!
The Grounds of Alexandria- Great Cafe and Kids play area on site but we like to head over to Sydney Park just 2 minutes down the road! Their park is awesome- huge slides, sandpits for days and so many swings!
Daniele’s Kiosk– Located in Darling Quarter, Daniele’s Kiosk is nestled within Tumbalong Park which is a playground Ava is obsessed with! They have two huge water feature playgrounds (for the Summer) and larger playground equipment for Toddlers – 8 year olds!
Moorebank Sporties– Not only does “the Backyard” have a great slide and climb set they also have birds, a goat and a great sandpit! You can order from inside the Sporties Cafe while the kids roam the grounds.
Blaxland Riverside Park– A great playground located in the Homebush district! Swings, a water feature, sand pit- you name it they have it. I’ve found that my older niece also loves this playground. Take a short walk to the Armory Wharf Cafe along the river to grab a great coffee or snack!
Rubyniks Cafe– Located on the bottom level of Miranda Westfields this cafe has a built in kids play area- balls, jumping beans etc A great little playground for bubs and young toddlers where you can enjoy a good coffee and yummy donuts while keeping an eye on your kids without worrying that they will get trampled or fall from a height!
